Its strategy is based on a cultural project that bets on promoting this field in the northern region in general and the city of Tangier in particular, which has always been a pioneer and a leader in many sectors. Accordingly, the Slaiki Brothers Foundation’s project focuses on the field of printing and publishing, which constitutes an interconnected whole that cannot be separated from each other, nor can each element be viewed in isolation. The project aspires to combine these elements by working to break down boundaries, as information technology is a tool for raising the level of printing and, consequently, the printing industry. The latter, in turn, constitutes the tool that establishes a publishing project based on creating communication between the creator and the recipient/reader.
Founded on January 1, 1994 in Tangier, the publishing house’s primary focus has been serving the publishing sector and the book industry, both technically and culturally. It contributes to the Moroccan cultural scene, particularly in the north, by organizing book fairs, seminars, and roundtables. It also focuses on academic studies and creativity, and contributes to the dissemination of world literature. Despite the difficulties facing every worker in this sector, the Sliki Brothers Foundation, thanks to the efforts of its administrative and technical staff, has been able to publish more than 130 works in all living languages. The Slaiki Brothers Foundation operates according to a program whose broad outlines were outlined since its inception.
